This year are super excited to be staying at the spectacular venue Basundari, which means the “Grace of Mother Earth“. It is a tranquil and peaceful hidden gem in the heart of the jungle in Ubud, surrounded by rice paddies and only 10mins by car to the centre of town. Watch the video below to tour the retreat centre and browse the accommodations options.

If you are wanting to share a room it is up to you to bring your favourite buddy and only one person needs to make the initial booking/deposit payment to confirm the room booking.

Click on the button to send us a booking request confirming the room choice and whether you will staying with another person (of your choosing) or occupying the room privately. We will then confirm your booking and send you payment terms and options. A $500 deposit is required to secure your booking.

If you want to be there with us - we will make it happen! We are flexible with payment schedules, chat with us about your plans we will make an arrangement that works for you.

If you are wanting to share a room it is up to you to invite your retreat buddy and only one person needs to make the initial booking/deposit payment to confirm the room booking. All rooms can be made up as 2 x king singles.

Hatha Room

Awaken to the sound of nature in this cozy jungle room. With a terrarium-like headboard, ambient balcony and playful bathroom stairs, the Hatha room definitely stands out among the rest. Perfectly situated giving you the best access to Basundari’s jungle hammock and yoga shala.

Tantra Room

Tantra is a cozy room with an outdoor hanging chair to snuggle in and a balcony with a view of the rice fields. It also has the best access to the cafe and the private deck where you can practice yoga or meditate at any time of the day.

An adorable bright room with a jungle view. Designed using natural aesthetics, Karma is a room that radiates a vibe that is pleasant and cozy to holiday in. There’s a soft round chair to curl up in with a good book. Situated near the kitchen and the café where you get the freshest and healthiest juice of the day.

Jnana Room

Natural light floods in from all three sides of the room and there’s views of the jungle and the pool with Basundari’s famous giant Buddha. If you like it bright then you’ll love Jnana.

Mantra Room

With a 180 degree view of the lush jungle and two built-around trees, Mantra room will definitely make you feel like you’re living in a treehouse. Lay on the hammock, cozy up on the couch or journal in the balcony. String lights are added to make your experience at night even more relaxing. Large Suite (50m2), with private balcony.

Seva Room

Immerse yourself in nature. Listen to the birds sing and the sound of the flowing river as this room is nestled deep in the jungle. Enjoy your morning tea or coffee whilst watching the squirrels roam around the bamboo trees just right outside your balcony. This cozy jungle room is furthest from the villa yet closest to the yoga shala, making Seva the perfect room for those who enjoy their solitude.

Raja Room

Start your day with a big stretch as you watch the sunrise from your window. This well-lit room is situated on the second floor giving you not only privacy but also the best view of the pool with Basundari’s famous giant buddha.

Bhakti Room

Bhakti is a sunny room with a charming view of the rice fields. It features a beautiful bathroom with a shower so special that when the sun shines through the roof, it creates a rainbow you can touch. Want to unwind? Climb into the hanging egg chair and enjoy the soothing music flowing from the sound healing temple next door.

This charming room has the best of both worlds. It’s perfectly situated on a corner giving you a panoramic view of the jungle and rice fields. Shower underneath the stars or cozy up on the outdoor hanging chair.

Mewa Room

A cozy and bright minimalist room with a spacious bathroom (twin sinks, toilet and shower) and stunning jungle views, located closest to our best social amenities for an immersive retreat experience. Soak up the sun or enjoy an afternoon dip in the infinity pool, detox in the sauna, or challenge yourself with a plunge in the ice bath, all just steps away.

 FAQs

  • As you soon as you reach out the room is yours and is confirmed once we receive your non-refundable deposit (e.g. $500). This offering is your energetic “yes” the key that unlocks your journey into the temple space we are weaving together. Simply click on the Reserve (room name) button to start the process.

  • Once we receive your deposit, you can choose to either:

    • Pay the full amount due within 2 months of booking.

    • Pay 50% of the amount due within 2 months of booking, then the remainder 2 months after that.

    • If you would like a payment plan get in touch we can work something out together.

      All payments must be completed no later than 2 months before the retreat begins.

  • Life happens, we understand. Our cancellation terms are:

    • 90+ days before retreat: Deposit is non-refundable, but any other payments will be returned to you.

    • 60–89 days before retreat: 50% refund (minus deposit).

    • Within 59 days of retreat: Unfortunately, no refunds are possible as costs are already committed in Bali.

  • Yes, with our blessing. If you cannot walk the path with us this time, you may transfer your place to another woman who feels called (with our approval, so that the harmony of the circle is preserved).

  • Each space is held especially for you and creating a retreat involves significant upfront investment of time and energy every step of the way.

  • Yes , it is condition of your attendance at the retreat. We recommend you organise travel insurance as soon as you book flights.

  • You will be among a circle of luminous women - heart-led souls who, like you, feel the call to step into the mystery, the magic, and the embrace of the Goddess & Bali.

  • We will send you a send you a more comprehensive guide but for now, your packing list might include: light, comfortable clothing for tropical weather, a journal, swimwear, yoga clothes, something special to wear for dinner out (if you like), and an open heart. A full packing guide will be sent closer to the retreat.
